Acid Cat – Original Mixed Media Abstract 16x20"

$450.00

Channeling the raw, electric, and mysterious energy of finding your light in the darkness, "Acid Cat" is a bold, one-of-a-kind 16x20" original mixed media work by New York City artist Heather Collis.

Artist Inspiration: Neon Shadows & Finding the Light

"Acid Cat" is a deeply expressive exploration of vulnerability, breakthrough, and the vibrant flow of our inner worlds. This piece captures a wild, soulful lion staring out from a dark, moody landscape, catching the flashing strobe lights of an unforgettable room.

A massive, sweeping wave of vibrant neon pink and purple chaos completely disrupts the rigid, structured blue geometric lines slicing across the canvas. Etched directly into the background, a web of chaotic, scratchy lines brings an electric vibration to the atmosphere, while fine, sharp white whiskers pull the lion's gaze forward out of the shadows. It is a visual testament to the moments when we refuse to leave the dance floor—always navigating the shadows until we are ready to step forward and find our light.
